New Workshop Dates!! Including Weekends!!

FINALLY!! Its workshop time again!!

Here are the dates for March and April 2012.

If you would like to attend any of the listings below, please contact me via email. You should receive a reply asap that same day (depending on the time of course). Spaces are limited but some classes are repeated to allow for busier sessions.

Classes take place in East Sussex (10 minutes drive from sunny Brighton).



WORKSHOPS ARE AS FOLLOWS......

WEDNESDAY 21st MARCH 2012

'Sign of the Times' Midweek

Using a wide variety of mixed media (some of which you may be new to working with) and various techniques to create a finished project. Throw away all your inhibitions and come and try something different which may alter the way in which you see things in the future.

9.45am - 1.45pm

Please bring a packed lunch with you to either eat on the hop or to take break for, your choice, depending how your project is going :0) Free drinks/biscuits available throughout the session.

SUNDAY 25th MARCH 2012

'A Sign of the Times' Sunday.

Covering the same techniques and materials as the class on Wednesday (see above for details), but this time in a shorter time frame on a Sunday afternoon. This class is for those that perhaps work during the week or who are unable to attend weekday classes or who purely fancy a few hours crafting to ignite those creative cells. Take a break from ironing uniforms, leave the Sunday lunch washing up to the rest of the family and come and have some creative fun.

2pm - 4pm

£15.00 per person

Free drinks(and an occasional biscuit if you are good ;0) ) available throughout the afternoon.

WEDNESDAY April 25th 2012

'Outside Looking In- Midweek'

9.45am - 1.45pm (long session)

£20.00

(I'm REALLY looking forward to this session). Paints, pastels, drawing, stamps and collage. Looking closely at what everyone else sees to create a very individual finished piece to look back on in years to come. Materials provided.

Free drinks throughout the session. Please bring a packed lunch with you.

Another opportunity to work freely with paint, pastels, drawing, stamps and collage. Charry's Textures piece published!

Very excited!

Charry has had her Textures piece (that she made at one if my workshops) published!

I'm so proud!!

New dates added for SUMMER WORKSHOPS.

I've mananged to secure some new dates for summer 2011. Please book early if you can, as there are a limited number of places available.

Details for each class can be found below.

I'm based between Brighton and Lewes in East Sussex on the south coast of the UK. Five minutes drive off the A27 or seven-ish minutes by one of the many taxis from Lewes train station (two and a half miles away).

The building that the workshop is held in has three sets of double doors on a double aspect for lots of air in the summer and is wonderfully light. Thanks to Dave, my husband for supplying the above photo.

Workshops and Classes available 2011

Here are a few photos of the ladies taken 'in action' at the workshop.

The beautiful green wooden sliding-top box is by Charry Wijers made during the 'Creating Textures' workshop in February, where a number of different materials were torn, stamped, embossed and cut to decorate the boxes covered in wonderful textures.

The wooden houses were made during the Masking workshop in March. All the samples of different types of masking were displayed in all the little windows of the wooden house and once the ladies have done their final 'tweaks' to them, I hope to show some examples.

DIORAMA

(you will need to bring with you an old novel with a hardback cover for this, available from charity shops, that you will be altering and don't mind cutting etc).

All stamps and materials to play with are provided other than the book.

Cost for this class... £15 (because you bring a book to alter this is a cheaper class)
